Thanks for the blog Dale! I sure miss watching you on the track! I've been a fan of yours since 1991 when you were driving the #21 car. Watching races just aren't the same without seeing you out there but I'm still a fan. Best wishes to you and your family.

Great blog by Dale. He is a racing legend and a role model to all race fans. My favorite racing memory with my dad is every time we are at the track whether it be local or Fontana. My Dad is a AAA employee and was/is a big David Ragan fan and when we heard that David was going to be rolling in the UPS car was a surprise. I am happy David represents this great company and hope to see him and his UPS FORD FUSION in victory lane soon.

My favorite racing memory with my dad would be Friday night treks to Stafford Speedway in Stafford, Ct. when I was a lad. We saw some of the Northeasts best clay track drivers in action. Wild Bill Slater in the V-8 car, Rene Charlan, Maynard Troyer, Bugsy Stevens, Pete Corey and "The Shoe" running the red and white #'s 11 and 111 respectively. My first hero was Pete Corey - at least until I figured out just how cool my dad was. Nat King Cole's "Ramblin Rose" playing on the tinny speakers between races. I think of that song and I can still smell the fuel.
