I work out of the Pico Rivera UPS center and work in security as a regional investigator.

I always love coming out to the races and working UPS Trackside Services because it allows me to enjoy the atmosphere at the track and also represent UPS. I just really enjoy being able to make deliveries to the teams and get them what they need. I also like all of the business-to-business opportunities that present themselves during the race weekend. It’s great to be out showing our name and finding out what we can do to help our customers while they are at the track, and also back at their businesses.

I have always been a big racing fan and actually spent many years myself racing. And when I’m not working at UPS, I enjoy golfing and going to the races.

Greg Mayer at Kansas Speedway

This past weekend at Kansas Speedway, Greg Mayer was part of the UPS Trackside Services team. Greg took some time on Sunday to talk with UPS Racing about what he does both at and away from the track.

I have been with UPS for 10 years, and I work in business development. Working for UPS Trackside Services during the race weekend in Kansas is enjoyable because it’s fascinating to see the power of the brand at work. It’s amazing how many doors it can open with just the power of the brand.

Coming out to the track is also a nice change of pace and it’s good to be out representing the company. I grew up a racing fan, so it’s neat to see everything going on behind-the-scenes in the garage area and around the track.

When I’m not working with UPS, I enjoy golfing and farming.

Gordon in Dover

This past weekend at Dover International Speedway, Gordon Myers was part of the UPS Trackside Services team. Gordon took some time on Sunday to talk with UPS Racing about what he does both at and away from the track.

I have been with UPS for 26 years and I have been working with UPS Trackside Services at the track ever since the beginning of the program. I really like coming out and working to help service all of our customers during the race week. I like the logistics of making sure everything gets done and is on time for everyone at the track.

When I first started with UPS, I unloaded trailers during college and then was a delivery driver. I worked in finance and accounting and have been in sales for the past 12 years.

I really like my job at UPS because it’s a great organization and place to work. I like the teammate atmosphere there and having a sense of loyalty from them as an employer.

When UPS first became involved in racing, I became a fan of the sport and have been following it ever since.

Away from work, I have two daughters in sports that keep me busy and I also am a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

This past weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Monica Franz, who works as a data supervisor in St. Johnsbury, Vermont was part of the UPS Trackside Services team. Monica took some time on race day to talk with UPS Racing about what she does both at and away from the track.

I have been with UPS for 17 years and I am a data supervisor. In a nutshell, my job is to make sure that all of the electronic data that comes in when somebody ships a package, fits in the UPS system.

I like my job and I like what the company does and the reputation of UPS. I like being able to help get packages to customers on time and how they are expecting.

When I’m not working with UPS, I go to school for psychology and criminology. I also have a 20-year-old son Brandon that keeps me busy.

I have been with UPS for 21 years and during the week I work in the Technology Support Group as the IT manager in Georgia. For my job, I’m in charge of all of the telephones, servers and PCs. I really like my job because I like working on computers and also providing good customer service for our company. I just try and make sure all the infrastructure is up and running correctly.

This last weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway was my first time working the UPS Trackside Services program, and man, I did I love it! It’s an adrenaline rush to be at the track and around the sport. Being able to come out and work at the track really makes me want to follow the sport much closer than I have been in the past.

The UPS program at the track is one that is very important on the race weekends and we received a lot of compliments for the service that we provide to everyone at the track. It was nice to hear people tell us that they are thankful that our program exists and that they know they can count on us to help them with all of their shipping needs.

When I’m not busy working at UPS, I like to spend my time golfing.

Chris at Bristol Motor Speedway

This past weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway, Chris Lyall, who works as a driver supervisor in Johnson City, Tenn., was part of the UPS Trackside Services team. Chris took some time on race day to talk with UPS Racing about what he does both at and away from the track.

I really like coming out to work UPS Trackside Services during the races in Bristol because of the fan experience and getting to represent our company. It’s nice to be able to do something for UPS to help the company and to get our name out in front of a lot of people. We do our best during the race weekend to make sure every customer is taken care of and gets what they need.

I have been a race fan for a while and grew up cheering for Harry Gant. Now, of course, I cheer for David Ragan and become a big fan of him and the No. 6 team.

During the week, I work as a driver supervisor in Johnson City and have been with UPS for 18 years. I like the company and really enjoy providing great service to customers.

In my spare time, I like to watch NASCAR and work on cars.

This past weekend at Michigan International Speedway, Andrea Matafiasz who covers Adrian, Mich., Taylor, Mich., and Monroe, Mich., as a Sales Support Representative, was part of the UPS Trackside Services team. Andrea took some time on Sunday to talk with UPS Racing about what she does both at and away from the track.

Working at Michigan International Speedway this weekend was my second time working for Trackside Services, and both times that I have been out to the track have been interesting and fun.

I like coming out here to the track because it is something completely new to me. Everything I know about NASCAR I’ve learned from my two weekends working at the track. It’s nice to see how many people at the track appreciate what we do for them during the weekend.

I have been working for UPS for five years, and I really like my job. It’s a great company to work for and I enjoy what I do. Before I became a sales support representative, I worked in operations and then as a part-time supervisor in Toledo, Ohio.

When I’m not working, I like to ride horses and hang out with my friends and family.

My name is Steve and I’ve been with UPS for almost 25 years. This weekend at Watkins Glen was, I think, my fourth time coming out to work for Trackside Services. I always like coming out to the track because I get to be with other fellow UPSers at the track, and I also like the interaction between everyone that comes out to the event.

During the week, I supervise package car drivers, but when I have time to myself, I like to hang out with my kids. My oldest is my boy, who is 19. I also have two girls that are 17 and 15.

I work out of the Henrietta, New York location, which is center 1441. Our center was the Maximum Center for the race at Watkins Glen. We were given that opportunity because of our internal business practices, which we scored 100 percent on. We were all pretty proud when we heard that our number would be on David Ragan’s car for the race.

Kyle at Pocono Raceway

This past weekend at Pocono Raceway, Kyle Blevins who works out of Harrisburg was part of the UPS Trackside Services team. Kyle took some time during the rain delay on Sunday to talk with UPS Racing about what he does both at and away from the track.   

This is my second time out here working for UPS Trackside Services and I really like coming out to the track and representing our company. It’s a nice change of pace and scenery from what I do during the week and it’s an honor to be on the inside and getting the job done.

I can’t say that I’m much of a NASCAR fan myself, but it is always quite the experience coming out here and seeing everything that goes on at the track and just how hyped up fans get when they come out for the event.  It’s pretty intriguing to see just how fast the cars go in real life and all the behind-the-scenes work that goes on to help keep the sport moving.

We had a really great team for Trackside this weekend. A lot of people count on us to get them what they need for the weekend, so we really are a big piece of the helping people get their jobs done for the race.

In my spare time, I like to hang out with friends and family, read, play pool, and just relax when I can.
